Course Objectives:

Participant will be able to examine the distinctive impact of a parent's severe illness or injury on children through a comprehensive analysis of a relevant case study.

Participant will be able to explore effective communication strategies for supporting children whose adult parents are facing a severe illness or injury, considering the unique challenges in both hospital and community settings.
